Gwyneth Paltrow in Talks with Atlantic, Ruins Yet Another Song (Watch)

You poor mortals

Singer (*cough*) Gwyneth Paltrow is in talks with Atlantic Records. Her deal, Page Six reports, is worth $900,000.

Well, that's not true ... yet. She apparently hasn't signed, so the figures aren't confirmed.

We love/hate this rumor. In addition to winning an Oscar almost by default, doling out all sorts of detoxifying-your-life tips on her website GOOP (the name, not to mention content, still grosses us out), and ruining already overplayed songs, she's managed to mangle Huey Lewis and malign country music.

But she crossed the line last night on Glee because in our book, blaspheming the Purple One is the unforgivable sin. Will someone please put this show out of its misery??? Watch:

For those of you complaining - it was a duet with both hers and Matthew Morrison's voices. Some of what you are attributing to her is actually HIS voice.

She's a decent actress, at best... but OK, I'll give you that one... but she's a terrible singer, by any standard. That's not sour grapes or hatred, that's a simple observation. She's too smug, self- righteous and privileged to convey any real depth or emotion in a vocal performance. You can like her or think she's cool, but that doesn't make her good. And her cover of Cee- Lo's tune, (or anyone else's songs- especially Prince), was just terrible.

See this is where yourself and many others just are not getting it or the show for that matter. They take a song and change it up a little, apparently the format of this song is not one you listen to on a regular basis. If her and/or the Glee cast sung the song the way it is now, you'd all throw tomatoes at your TV's and be on here complaining they are bad singers.If you want bad singing, wait until American Idol comes on....
