Catfight! Lil Kim and Keyshia Cole's Twitter Beef
To quote the late, great Notorious B.I.G., "Fuck that beef shit; that shit is played out."
How very disappointed Biggie would be in his protege, Lil Kim. Once again, the increasingly catlike Kim took to Twitter to fire shots at Nicki Minaj ripping off her (Barbie) act. This time, she specifically widened her aim to include singer Keyshia Cole, who had Minaj contribute to her single "I Ain't Thru" (which is, coincidentally, about brushing haters off) last year.
Minaj's verse disses Kim. Kim, Keyshia, and Missy Elliott did a song together a couple of years ago. Kim felt betrayed by Keyshia. No, these women aren't in high school.
To be fair, today Keyshia started it with this Tweet:
Kim had lashed out at the Nicki/Keyshia collab this past January, but all Kim needs are 140 characters to set her to snappin'. Keyshia dropped it after a couple of Tweets, but Kim seems to live for this shit:
@LilKim: Friend or no friend i would have never let anybody disrespect u on my record but i can't expect everyone to be as real as i am.
@LilKim: At the end of the day karma is as real as i am and it's coming to get u. oh wait...if it hasnt got u already...
@LilKim: My love & loyalty to u got u a hit, ur friendship with ur friend got u a flop.
@LilKim: looks like u need to choose ur friends more wisely dont u think? #teamlilkim LEGGGGOOOO
@LilKim: Loyalty and respect has nothing to do with friendship...BOOM
@LilKim: Loyalty and respect is about returning a kindness. Have you ever came out and supported me at my shows? i dont think so.
@LilKim: Yes it was a good look for me but it was a great look for u. At the end of the day it was a hit on YOUR album.
@LilKim: Sticking 2 the situation. Again I would have never let anyone disrespect U on my song. That's loyalty & respect. End of story.
