What's Your Favorite Pink Floyd Album Cover?

With the show "Taken by Storm" now on view at John Varvatos, we thought it'd be fun to ask readers to pick their favorite Pink Floyd album cover. There we were, loading them all up, when suddenly we remembered Thorgerson's Back Catalogue poster. How we'd forgotten this gem after living in a dorm for a year is beyond us, although that was one hazy year.

So what's your fave from Back Catalogue? Atom Heart Mother, Relics (reissue), Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, The Wall or Animals?

You can put out a strong argument for almost all of The Floyd's album covers. Animals with the breakaway pig at battersea power station or A Momentary Lapse Of Reason with all of those perfectly placed beds. But hands down for me it is Ummagumma.

As iconic as The Darkside cover is, have to go with the striking Wish You Were Here Cover (lp was originally packaged in brown wrapper paper), or the non-sequiter-ness of The Atom Heart Mother cover.  Storm was the perfect collaborator for their music.
