I'm personally going to Coachella the second weekend and I can't wait. I was trying to figure which bands I need to see so at my company, Audiogalaxy, we created a graph on how the Coachella bands are related to help people decide what their must see bands are.

this is insane, explosions in the sky, at the drive in and the buzzcocks were my favorite bands years ago....but to be able to see all of them AND MORE at one festival....wow...this is one of the sickest festival line ups i have seen in years....anyone that goes is lucky...

I for one am excited. Refused, At The Drive-In, the Buzzcocks, Cat Power, Pulp. Thats more than enough to make it a great festival.

The three headliners are fine. But the rest of the line up is complete and utter crap.Where are quality killer acts like Beasties, Foo, Beck, Tool, Jane's, Peppers, Raconteurs??Been going to the show for years too -- agree, this is hands down the weakest line up ever. And they do this on the first ever 2 weekend show??! Weak.

Seriously? Coachella has always been about breaking in up and coming bands, not giving the same boring shit you listen to on KROQ everyday even more exposure. If you really want to see the acts you mentioned above, go to Bonnaroo or Lollapalooza. Those festivals are better suited for those still stuck on 90's mainstream rock.

...snore...and since ALL these bands will be hanging around for two weekends it means tons of little LA shows so no need to deal with the travel, the heat and the crowds that make Coachella a headache for any real music fan

there could be exclusivity clauses in most of these contracts that doesnt allow bands to play in LA or in the region during the week in between........and plenty of REAL music fans know how to circumvent and ninja the crowd and don't whine and bitch about the heat.
