Fanatics! Here we are, once again all together. As many of you probably know, I am already on the road again and this is a pre-taped show that Engineer X, Will "The Double B" Bentley and I have put together in the Auxiliary Wing of the Jasonic Temple.
Tonight, we start with some great artists either singing about the radio or having the word "radio" in their group's name. The concept is mediocre but the music is really happening.
As you can see, we are still inside the German music world. Having seen that Kraftwerk documentary recently and having just spent a bit of time in Germany, I am thinking about all those bands quite a bit and listening to all of it in a different context. Last night, I was listening to a Conrad Schnitzler album called Rot. It's one of his early works and extremely intense.
I don't know how easily procured that one is but perhaps you can find it somewhere. Often the pieces on his albums are quite long for radio standards but perhaps we can try to run one of these pieces at some point this year. I think it would be great if we moved the show into some wild new places. I know you can handle it, so I guess there's nothing to stop us.
Damn, even if I do say so myself, Fanatic, this set seems to hit all the major food groups and then some. I hope you enjoy it.
Some of you wrote in, asking about the dedication we made to our boss, leader and Big Toe, Jason "J-Money" Bentley. Here, for your enjoyment, is the transcript from last week's bow to our most exalted leader:
