I miss phat pants. I miss warehouse parties. I miss hardcore, acid house, hard trance and real jungle. I miss dirty nasty makeshift venues where all production consideration was invested in the sound and lineup. I miss new ravers who respected those who came before and the traditions of the scene. I don't know what happened to all of these things but the state of EDM culture in Southern California is appalling. The diy, underground culture is gone only to be replaced by massproduced consumer nonesense. Rest in Peace rave scene.

I don't know how many raves I've been to or how many times I've dressed in a crazy costume like a ninja turtle, chicken, gone half naked... its a chance to express your individuality with like minded people! i dont understand how shes a devoted raver at the age of 18. Shes in high school for god sake were trends come and go. I remember when i was in high school and rap core and numetal was the big thing and people clung to that until they realized oh wait this sucks...call her dedicated when shes 10-15 years deep not barely old enough to get into the clubs. Raves? Sorry, but those started in the late 80's and ended in the mid 90's. After that the scene became a grotesque parody of itself. Enjoy your time partying kids, but sorry, it's not the same thing.

This girl is lying or getting into the Avalon illegally, cause Avalon is 19+. Also raves became 18+ over a year ago. So she hasn't been going to Insomniac events. Good job on exposing this girl for what she is... A girl dressing slutty looking for attention!
