Coachella Weekend Two Tickets Are Selling Waaaaaay Below Face Value

Maybe it's the glut of tickets resulting from the addition of a second weekend, maybe it's because everyone hated the Tupac hologram; for whatever reason, Coachella tickets can be had for a song right now. No, seriously...
Last week we reported that tickets were really fucking cheap, but now they are much, much, cheaper. As you can see from the chart above courtesy of SeatGeek, weekend two passes on the secondary market (ie StubHub, eBay, etc.) are averaging about $238.
That's bonkers, because, first of all, it's significantly below their $320 face value and, secondly, they haven't been this cheap in years.
Here are a few ways to look at it:
*Tickets maxed out this year at about $575 -- this is 60% cheaper than that
*In recent years, prices have never fallen below face value, even in the days immediately preceding the festival.
*Last Friday, when the first weekend began, tickets were going for about $350.
The bottom line? This is probably the weekend to go. Here's why:
