Cat Power - Hollywood Palladium - 11/8/12

@ Molly Bergen,  I was
at the Palladium that night, specifically to see E.S.P.  Brother and sister,
Seiya Matsumia, and Aska, of Japanese heritage.  Bobby is their drummer.  I
don't think I can remember ever being to that venue - I looked up reviews before
going.  Reviews suggest their audio engineering consistently needs some help.
Having seen E.S.P. perform over a dozen times various L.A. venues, I can tell
you the audio set-up was not doing them justice that night.  You know when you
have a song that you really like (say 60s White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane)
and you hear a rendition / cover or interpretation of it.  There's some leeway
room, but sometimes the audio levels can just be off.  I really like E.S.P.s
live stuff, but this was their worst sounding show I've attended.
