Skrillex Considered Having His 12/21 Party on the Moon

"We feel pretty confident that if the aliens do in fact fly down and destroy us all, we'll be on the front lines," Corey Johnson, Skrillex's stage designer, told Bloch.

Skrillex could not be reached for comment, and his manager declined comment as well.

Too bad. Because we've heard that you can get seriously dubtarded in zero gravity.

I predict Skrillex will find his Rightful Place with the Insane Clown Posse in 2013.

Skrillex drives the EDM Short Bus to the Moon...then loses his keys... they all asphyxiate. Happy Ending.

I'm the one horribly misquoted in this post and I'd just like to set the record straight.

Skrillex Mothership Tour 2012: Moonpocalypse Edition was cancelled due to a setback in our Moon base drop. The Mothership was supposed to drop the base in the South Pole Crater (obviously the only legitimate moon venue nowadays), but instead they dropped the base right on the Apollo 11 landing site...which is so 1969. We didn't want to do something that had been done before, so we're in the process of relocating the venue to the dark side of the moon. Good news, though: the Skrillex Moon Terraforming Project should be complete by mid 2014, so the entire rock will be open for partying! Two bedroom, two bath waterfront condos will start at 6 million OWSLA bucks.

Also, this post should have one more tag: Shitty Journalism.

Skrillex considered being a media-whore by making dumb statements to the press about his 12/21 party.

Well, since no space agency is doing manned flights to the Moon at the moment, how was he going to get there? :-)
