Did Marilyn Manson Almost Beat a Woman To Death in his New "Snuff" Video?

Our friend Brian

A few months ago, Marilyn Manson got upset about a story we published and used his MySpace to rant and threaten our reporters (and journalists in general) with the wrath of his minions. Here's an excerpt:

But if one more "journalist" makes a cavalier statement about me and my band, I will personally or with my fans help, greet them at their home and discover just how much they believe in their freedom of speech. I dare you all to write one more thing that you won't say to my face. Because I will make you say it. In that manner. That is a threat.

So, it is with trepidation that West Coast Sound must report today that there's a new Marilyn Manson professional music video doing the rounds, in which the Glam Goth Ghoul that inhabits the flesh of fortysomething Floridian Brian H. Warner appears to be beating a young woman to a bloody pulp.

But the question remains: Is this an elaborate film production with fake blood and stuntman's punches made to look like an amateur snuff video? Or did the man who renamed himself "Marilyn Manson" really go too far this time and beat a poor woman almost to death?

Decide for yourself. Video after the jump.

Kate-Madonna says:

Brilliant, and intelligent way to handle this.
Thank you for reporting- with correct criticism and tone, but also offering the lovely Patrick Stewart talking about WHAT'S FAR MORE IMPORTANT than a darn music video.
I fear that the press will get the song played- and then? Brian will have won again.

I do not believe ONE word of it. I think the media class bandits have done it again!

Poor Manson. I knew he was too smart and outspoken that this would happen to him one day. There is a wave of bottom dwellers on the internet who are convicting people before trial, persuading sheep and taking over internet markets. It's happening overnight, people! Don't let them do it! Don't let them warp justice through OUR medium!

This is so ridiculous! It's a fucking music video, and expression of art, it's meant to stir up a reaction. That's what "Marilyn Manson" is. Get over yourself and stop jumping to conclusions. He is not really beating that girl to death in the video, he's not some sicko. Yes I am a huge manson supporter. Just because he is a "shock" rocker does not mean he is a wife beater, or abusive to women in any way. ARTIST, that's what he is. Mabye your warped little mind wanted to just jump to conclusions. Think before you post anything so stupid again.

Heraldo says:

@Kate-Madonna The fact this article exists means he's already "won".

They didn't prove to "Brian"(Who ever that is)
that sensationalism works. He proved it to them, that they seek it out before anything.

I mean look
"Did Marilyn Manson Almost Beat a Woman To Death in his New "Snuff" Video?" who is the sensationalist here? LOL DOES EVERYTIME SOMEONE DIE ON CAMERA IS IT FOR REALZ? HEADLINE CONTENT!

Mocktv says:

Yes, I'm sure Manson did this on purpose so he could make sure he has evidence of him committing a horrendous crime to make sure he gets prosecuted because what person wants to publicize a music video for us to witness a crime esp. Manson? From Evan Rachel Wood heartbreak and meeting him once, his "evil" persona isnt all that terrible, he still is human & has some nice guy in him, he is not all that bad, sure we all make bad decisions, but he loves controversy, hes a madman like that. He's not that stupid to do something on tape...what a surprise, a gothic man does a violent video, that never happens right? :P

Weak posting. Under the guise of disapproval you're actually playing the same game of getting eyeballs from controversy. If you truly didn't want to help people get to the video at issue, why mention the sites where it can be located?

Sometimes disapproval is best expressed by simply ignoring that which is offensive. This is one of those times.

Dick says:

I was expecting a childish, ignorant reaction to Manson's video, but this is borderline psychotic.

Matt G. says:

Perfectly ghastly video, yes. But if a woman made a video about harming or even killing an ex-lover as an act of revenge, would it be treated with the same sense of outrage? I can think of at least a couple of Lady Gaga videos where she kills a guy. So I'm not saying it's a good thing . . . but let's at least hold everyone to the same standard.
