21-Year-Old Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Speeding Collision on Potranco Road

SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 16, 2024)Yonathan Pubillones died Thursday night in a speeding motorcycle crash at the 8300 block of Potranco Road.

Emergency responders arrived at the vicinity near Highway 151 at approximately 7:50 p.m. on April 4th. According to law enforcement officials, Pubillones was operating an eastbound motorcycle at a high speed. Subsequently, the motorcyclist collided with a westbound gray Chevrolet Impala that was making a turn in front of them.

As a result of the severe injuries sustained, medical personnel pronounced Pubillones, aged 21, deceased at the scene. Meanwhile, the 37-year-old male driver of the Chevrolet remained present and cooperated with authorities.

No charges are anticipated to be brought against him. Temporary road closures were implemented by emergency services to facilitate clearing operations. An active investigation is ongoing to determine further details.
