Four, Including Infant, Pronounced Dead after Rollover Collision near Van Ryn Avenue

MANTECA, CA (April 25, 2024)Arriaga Negrete, Liliana Mendoza, Jorge Guerrero, and David Guerrero died Saturday night in a car crash on Highway 120. The incident occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m., near Van Ryn Avenue.

An investigation is underway following an incident where the driver of a Toyota Sienna minivan, traveling westbound, lost control, and veered off the highway into a grass median strip. The vehicle then descended into an underpass, overturning and igniting in flames.
 
Among the victims of the accident were Arriaga Bonifacio Negrete, 44, Liliana Guerrero Mendoza, 40, Jorge Negrete Guerrero, 12, and David Negrete Guerrero, just 4 months old.
 
Three survivors, identified as two girls aged 6 and 14, and a 9-year-old boy, were rushed to a nearby hospital by paramedics.
 
The 6-year-old girl sustained major injuries and was airlifted to UC Davis Medical Center. Investigators noted that this was the second quadruple-fatal crash in the Modesto area within four days.
 
The loved ones of the family set up a GoFundMe page to help with costs during this difficult time.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
